Canadian Experience Class (CEE) Program

Canadian Experience Class

This Program is for experienced employees with Canadian work expertise willing to get permanent residency. Although CEC is one of the most popular routes to permanent residence in Canada, its preparation takes three to four months.

How Does This Program Work?

You should be aware of the following requirements for the Canadian Experience Class.

Group 27
Group 29
Group 30

Education

Generally, the Canadian Experience Class has no educational requirements. Furthermore, there are two steps you can take to increase your rank to meet your migration needs.

  • You can get the necessary points for a certificate or degree by enrolling in a school in Canada.
  • If you are a foreign citizen and have international education , then
  1. A concluded foreign credential, and
  2. An Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) certificate for a settlement offer from a recommended institution reveals that your education is equivalent to the chosen degree or certificate.

Language Ability

Language proficiency depends on the NOC job type, and must be familiar with the following requirements.

  • The language test has been approved for speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Fulfil the job’s minimum language requirements.
  • CLB 7 for NOC 0 or A jobs.
  • CLB 5 for NOC B jobs.

Note(Bold): Validation of the language test is two years.

Minimum Requirements

You should be eligible for this class by fulfilling the minimum requirements.

  • You must have at least one year’s worth of Canadian job experience over the previous three years.
  • You can also perform a variety of part-time jobs to meet this requirement.
  • You must have acquired your job experience while you were a limited resident with permission to work in Canada.
Canadian Experience Class non-eligibility occurs when:
  • In Canada, you are a foreign applicant.
  • You are performing work without authorization or a legal signature.
  • Your employment experience was acquired without having Canadian residency.

Advantages and Disadvantages

Applicants for CECs should have at least one year of experience in Canadian business. Under the CRS, this is a precious factor. CEC petitions are completed immediately, frequently in three to four months, because the required documentation is minimum.

There is no assurance that you will receive an invitation to join even if you are eligible to apply under the FSW program.
